Is Shipping Safe for the Puppy?

Understanding the Shipping Process**

Many people express concerns about the safety of shipping a puppy, wondering if it’s a frightening experience for the little one. Allow me to shed light on the process to alleviate any worries and provide reassurance:

Safety Measures During Shipping:

Contrary to common perceptions, shipping a puppy is a well-organized and safe process. Drawing from years of experience, I can assure you that airlines take extra care of the puppies during transit. Essential precautions are in place, such as taping food and feeding instructions to the crate, placing frozen water to gradually thaw, and offering food during the journey. Flights typically last 4 to 6 hours, and I stay informed about delays or layovers to ensure the well-being of the pup.

The crate is equipped with a comfortable bed of shredded newspapers, a favorite chew or toy, and even an item with my scent to provide comfort and security to the puppy.

Winter Shipping Concerns:

Addressing worries about cold weather, rest assured that puppies can be safely shipped between 20 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit, adhering to industry rules. Puppies travel in the temperature-regulated belly of the plane, maintained at a comfortable 70 degrees—similar to passenger cabins. Winter shipping is not a concern, as the puppies are the last to board and the first to disembark. The airlines are diligent about maintaining optimal conditions for their safety.

Shipping Process Overview:

Being conveniently located 30 minutes from the airport, I prioritize efficient trips by coordinating multiple puppy deliveries. If you decide on a puppy, I’ll need your flexibility regarding pickup times. After receiving all necessary information and amounts, I can book the pup’s flight, usually a few hours or a day in advance to monitor weather conditions.

Upon booking, I’ll provide you with the flight details, including times and pickup location. All you need to do is pick up your puppy at your nearest airport, armed with identification such as a driver’s license and the airway bill number I provide.

Remember, this might sound detailed, but in reality, the process is swift. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as you receive your puppy, eager to ensure a smooth transition and address any questions you may have.
